About This Mod

The team that translated KCD2 into Turkish did a very good job, especially in the dialogs. However, there are several areas of concern. For example, we did not like that the Dollmaker potion was translated directly as the Dollmaker potion. We were also concerned about inconsistencies in some places. For example, "The blood of the lani" is a very good translation, but the spelling "The blood of the lani" is contradictory. So I created a mod that allows you to change the name of the potion according to your preferences. The name change has been applied not only to inventory but also to dialogs. I also added a file for those who use my translation "Sorted Inventory". You only need to use this file and do not need to use other translations. The changes I have made and their reasons: Essentia Minthi (Mintha). I preferred the word essence (essence) to the spirits in general, but retained some natural dialog. Lion essence (Lion Essence) Stinking perfume (Stinking Perfume) Wooden man's potion (Baby Maker Potion). It's a paralyzing poison, and I think the name Baby Maker doesn't fit very well. The description of this poison suggests pouring it on food rather than on battle, but I wanted to change that because destruction is more often associated with war. Water of Lost Memories (Water of Forgetting). I think a more fantastic name is Febrifuge Tonic (Fire Tonic). When I first heard this translation, I thought it was about war, but it was about fever, so I used fever, which means high temperature. The drink of destiny (saviour schnapps). I wanted to give a more specific name to the image of a drink that can rewrite fate, but in my opinion, it is not suitable because wine and schnapps are different drinks, but very rarely there are contradictions in the dialogs (for example, someone said that wine is something light, and here it is heavy, and I give you this medicine, etc.). If I don't come across such a dialog, it will be difficult for me to find and change it, but I have also edited the dialog in which this potion appears. Sherbet Dirlika (painkiller). I prefer the name Usta Eli Şerbeti (quick finger). Again, this is a translation that, in my opinion, is less suitable for Turkish. Since it improves both labor and theft, I decided that Usta Eli is more appropriate, Telsiz Panzehir (dog hair). Dog wool in English means another drink for hangover treatment. In Turkish, although the expression "nail removes nail" exists, the expression "dog hair" is not used. That's why I gave it that name. In other words, Turkish coffee is drunk to stop the effects of alcohol. There was no such thing as coffee in those days, but it's not scary. Maple oil (embrocation). I came up with the name because it has an effect that increases agility, and the oil is used in the potion recipe. The Poet's (Fox) Breath. Somewhere in the game, this recipe translates as a recipe for a bard's potion, not a fox's potion. I used that name because it makes more sense than a fox, because it improves the ability to speak. Potion that reduces sleep (cockatoo). Potion that restores strength and reduces the need for sleep. I wasn't sure of the name "kakadu", but I decided to use that name. Nail syrup (mixture of nails). It sounded more natural. We didn't change the names of the other potions, but there were discrepancies in the dialogs and names that we fixed. For example, sometimes the blood of the autumn deer was used, and sometimes not, so they were all replaced by the blood of the autumn deer.
