About This Mod
Features
General
- Disable 30FPS restriction in scenes/photo mode or set your own frame rate limit.
- Adjust FOV, camera distance and camera horizontal position.
- Allow the generation of frames in story scenes.
- Option for quality of JXL screenshots and correction of locks when creating screenshots.
- Allow motion blur + frame generation.
- Force depth of field off.
Ultra wide/narrow
- Eliminate pillarboxing/letter box in unlimited/full screen mode.
- Fixed HUD scaling with customizable HUD size.
- Fixed FOV scaling at <16:9.
Installation
- Get the latest version of FFXVIFix from the Files section.
- Unzip the contents of the zip into the game folder. For example ("steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY XVI" for Steam).
Additional Instructions for Steam Deck/Linux
🚩 You need to do this if you use Windows!
- Open the game properties in Steam and add "WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dinput8=n,b"%command%" to the launch options.
