About This Mod

Thorn Overhauled is a comprehensive redesign of the lighting, atmosphere and layout of the underground arena in New Vegas, based on history and aimed at unleashing the potential of this place better, while remaining true to the vision of Obsidian. The Vanilla version of Thorne in New Vegas falls short of expectations. The lighting is dim and one-dimensional, the corridors dirty and untidy, and there are too many double doors. In general, this strange and ugly space, which can scare away those who first visit it... The Thorn Overhauled is a visual reworking of the infamous Underground Wasteland Arena. All changes and additions are 100% in line with the plot and are aimed at creating an experience that easily fits into the basic game. Lighting improvements and improvements A richer atmosphere: swirling fog, rising smoke, drifting dust. Improved geometric details: debris, machinery, debris. The floor of the arena is stained with blood, bones and other relics of the battlefield. For example, cells are made of scrap metal, not pre-war architecture.
