About This Mod

This is a sprint mod made by Lorke and configured by Ez0n3, updated to work with the NVSE.

*Note:

The NVSE is still in beta, and the NVSE part of this mod may or may not work at the moment (will likely work) If the NVSE mod does not work, you can find the 'NVSE Key'. Detection Utility (NVSE_KPD) under 'This Mod -> Files -> Miscellaneous' to verify that the NVSE is working properly. If the check fails, you may have to wait for the release of the nebeta version of the NVSE before you can use NVSE mode with this mode. Always make sure you are running the latest version of the NVSE.

Version: 1.4

Description

From ===========

Added a sprint button. It allows you to run freely in the wild without being limited by action points.

Additional information.

=======

For NVSE, the sprint key replaces the run key—all you need to do is press and hold the run key. -If you want to keep the running key functionality, you can set custom key bindings in the control settings menu of the pitch.

No NVSE: In No NVSE mode, the Vault-Tek stepper in the inventory must be attached to a hotkey. To start a sprint, press the sprint hotkey, and then continue. To stop the sprint, press the hotkey again. To snap a hotkey, hold down the numeric keys to display the inventory and click the item you want to snap. Setting the sprint delay in the pedometer settings menu allows you to run without a sprint for a certain time. If you set the delay to 2, you will have to run forward for 2 seconds before you start springing.

In both cases, the sprint requires action points, and if they run out, you have to wait for them to replenish. The higher your stamina, the less AP you need for a sprint, and the higher your agility, the faster you can run. The weight you carry also affects your speed. In some situations, a sprint is not possible, for example, if you have broken legs or are full. Various screen effects are used to enhance the sense of speed. The clothes section in the inventory uses the pitch to display speed and distance, as well as for various settings.

Benefits

Tackle (##025889).

Run toward the enemy (he must be hostile) and try to defeat him. The strength and endurance of the enemy is compared to your bare-handed strength and skills; if you win, the enemy is defeated. If you lose by a very large margin, you, too, could be knocked down, so be careful. It takes 1/4 of your AP to attempt a fight, so try not to exhaust it in the process.

Attack (##025888)

This advantage allows you to keep your weapons ready during a sprint. However, do not count on greater accuracy during charging.

Calculation formula.

Speed multiplier: 100 (base speed) + ( Dexterity * 4 + 40 * (1 - (Current weight / Maximum weight)) * SprintSpeedMultGLOB

AP Flow Rate: ((25 - Endurance) * SprintAPMultGLOB) per second

Fine-tune:

SprintSpeedMultGLOB and SprintAPMultGLOB are global variables and can be easily changed via GECK or in-game via the console. The AP speed and offload formulas are multiplied by these values respectively, so for example, if you want to halve the speed during a sprint, change the SprintSpeedMultGLOB to 0.5; if you set the SprintAPMultGLOB to 0, you can continue the sprint forever; if you set the SprintAPMultGLOB to 1, you can continue the sprint forever. By default, both variables are 1.

If SprintForceNoNVSEEGLOB is set to 1, mode can be forced to start in NoNVSE mode. <yes it says and is sprintforcenonvseglob so sue me>

To set game variables, press the tilde key (~) to open the console and type 'set x to y' without the quotes.

Set
===========
1.
