About This Mod

Like the original mod, this mod adds music and a (working) radio song over the original soundtrack. It is now redesigned with fixes and new add-ons and is available again for TTW and NV. The mod began relatively small. At first, only the classic OSTs from Fallout 1 and 2 were added to the Mojave vanilla track. I later modified it to cover both TTW and Mojave, and included Fallout: Nevada and Fallout: Sonora. Over time, we also decided to add a radio. However, the latter did not quite work out, and the former started well, but the general atmosphere (at least in TTW) left much to be desired. While New Vegas had many unique zones with different soundtracks, Fallout 3 had only five music sets (military base, battle, research, public area/big city and quiet lane). I didn't want to eclipse the vanilla tracks, so I decided to modify the mod and create several more such sets for different locations of TTW, as well as balance the loading of tracks from Mojave's side. So we decided to release this as a revision, and here it is. As mentioned above, this mod adds music over existing OSTs. More precisely, this is an add-on that can be chosen with or without a radio (see below) and in the TTW or NV versions respectively: Fallout: OSTs for Nevada and Fallout: Sonora (two well-known fan mods and full conversions of Fallout 2 - thank you so much Nobody's Nail Machine for allowing us to use the soundtracks to stunning compositions from these classic OSTs Fallout (Fallout 1, 2 and Tactics). This mod adds to the NV location music from Fallout 3, as well as selections from Galaxy News Radio (TTW) and Radio New Vegas, modified to match the mood of the respective radio stations (this is optional, and the FOMOD radio (you can also not use editing). Radio New Vegas now plays Talentpool songs as originally intended. The two new exclusive songs for the Gomorrah Dracomies of Amazing New Vegas are inspired by the Reworked Version 3 (it is recommended to use the Reworked Version as it is the only version that can be used in the future). However, if you sign in to V.A.T.S., the songs will restart if you leave the zone or return. When I figure out how to do it, I'll use the casino radio station. Maybe I'll play a little more with tracks that aren't used or are only available in certain locations. Some tracks are still linked to certain locations, but please make suggestions in the comments. Radio, atmosphere, battle tracks - everything that fits the purpose of this fashion - just use MO2 or Vortex and the FOMOD installer, or drag the add-ons folder into the Game Data folder. (We may not distribute OST for Fallout 4 or Fallout: Tactics, so please follow this link or the discord link from the author of the guide. If you want to migrate this mod back to Fallout 3, please request permission via DM. When using assets from/in this fashion, you must specify me and the composer who created the music. Otherwise, check the Permissions tab. This mode is incompatible with other modes that edit existing media location controllers (such as music sets for the different locations listed above). Add new e.g. . Replacer (essentially a mod that replaces the original music files of the game) will work normally unless you edit it directly (for example, via a plugin). Radio mods that edit Galaxy News Radio (TTW) or Radio New Vegas are incompatible when using the full version of the mod that includes the radio mod. Bethesda Game Studios - though hated (rightly or wrongly) these days - could successfully turn Fallout into a 3D world. We hope that they will return in good shape in future parts of both The Elder Scrolls and Fallout series. It would be a pity if that didn't happen, as Obsidian Entertainment created Fallout: New Vegas and improved many (if not all) aspects of the previous game, making it one of Fallout's favorite games to date. Mark Morgan is definitely the composer of the two original Fallout games. He set the tone for the series. Inon Zulu - just as Mark Morgan set the tone, Inon Zulu managed to convey the same sentiment, especially in Fallout 3. I liked his work on other games like Crysis (guess where my nickname came from), and especially I like his work on the Nobody's Nail Machine series - give him a little love. It's made some great tracks, and at least for me, most of them are best suited to exploring dungeons/cities/scary places, but they still feel like classic tracks. And of course, thank you very much for letting me use his shards. https://nobodysnailmachine.bandcamp.com/album/fallout-sonora-soundtrack tostikaas tunes - he also made a great soundtrack for the upcoming F4NV (and others).
