About This Mod
WHAT IS THIS?
This mod is a substitute for textures. It darkens and discolors more than 60 selected items of clothing, gear, and armor. There is also the option to darken Dogmeat.
WHY?
Because I like darker clothes and armor. Most dark texture substitutes on NEXUS make everything completely black. This is not happening.
HOW DO I INSTALL IT?
Use the mod manager, otherwise read this guide for instructions. You can choose to install through the FOMOD installer (which lets you choose which outfits to darken) or use the ALL-IN-ONE installer (to completely change the aesthetics of Fallout 4 clothing and armor).
CONSOLE ID?
This table lists all items and their console codes. Open the console with ~ and enter "player.additem XXXXX" (replacing XXXXX with the ID ITEM you want), and it will mathematically appear in your inventory.

WHAT ELSE SHOULD WE KNOW?
Combat armor is obscured by both the palette file and the specular map (making it less shiny). So if you overwrite this mod with something like 4k Combat Armor Retexture, you might lose my specular map, but your armor will still be darker, as my palette will remain intact. By the way, this fashion is excellent, I highly recommend.
