About This Mod

The fashion action begins during the Hunter/Hunter quest, where schemes for creating the base platform and default modifications can be found on a terminal in Greenetech Genetics. This terminal will also give hard-to-interpret clues about where to find terminals that give schemas for creating other modifications. All schemas are on terminals that are unlocked or blocked for beginners.

The basic platform is created in the category "Cyber Technologies" on the workbench "Armor Fighter". Modules are created on a workbench, as are vanilla armor. Drug bioplasma is created on a chemistry workbench.

Necessary Fashions

AWKCR

Armorsmith

Arbitration: Technically not mandatory, but the mode is balanced so that Arbitration is set to the recommended settings.

Featured Fashions

Research Projects: A different approach to cybernetics (modifies three Kellogg implants, allowing the use of standard armor and power armor), as well as a huge number of other features.

Faster terminal display: Irreplaceable

Glowing Eyes: For the Cyborg Image

AS Craftable Institute Workstations: Help to get rid of the feeling that you are creating high-tech implants in your garage.

Functionality

This mod is in the PLAYABLE ALPHA state. Due to the nature of the fashion, it is highly unlikely that it will break your game, but (especially considering that this is my first mod) some cybernetic mods may not work correctly. In addition, the following mods do not have any (non-role) functionality:

Thermal Optics and Courser Overlay: Pending permissions

Metabolic accelerator, advanced combat sensors and all power modes: Planned interaction with the new Survival Challenge.

Some other cybernetic modules have less interesting effects.

In addition, the system by which the perks that allow the creation of cybernetic modules are added to the player is not functional and will probably not function until G.E.C.K. is released, as it will require very simple scripting. However, the instructions for solving this problem are simple and are presented in the appropriate game moment in the most history-friendly way possible.

Balance note

This file is balanced as an alternative to power armor in the middle and end of a Survival difficulty game with the Arbitration set and recommended settings. On basic survival, it is likely to be too powerful.

Compatibility

Edits some terminals to add entries, but with one exception (the Greenetech Genetics gunner entry on the b9ae5 terminal) does not delete any entries. There are no other possible compatibility issues.

History Support

By the early 2070s, advances in nanotechnology, which enabled the development of a transistor-based microprocessor in 2067, had begun to be used to manage biology at the nanoscale at which it naturally functions. In 2071, Greenetech Genetics marketed the first gene therapy approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of several of the most common genetic diseases. Over the next few years, the emerging fields of gene therapy, tissue engineering, and nanobiotechnology have made tremendous progress. In the fall of 2077, Greenetech Genetics, a leader in these emerging areas of biotechnology, has just completed a groundbreaking product - a modular platform for first-generation nanobionic modification.

Standard Modification Set

The modification platform permeates all body tissues with the patented nanobionic Greenetech electrofiber, which easily combines biocompatible nanoelectron fibers with genetically edited biological tissue, improving tissue health and strength and enabling the harmonious integration of a wide range of cybernetic devices powered by the conversion of blood glucose into electrical current.

Greenetech's research was also largely funded by the DARPA and the Army Medical Research Command. The Ministry of Defense motivated the project's funding by a desire to reduce the need for prohibitively expensive production and operation of force armor in the war with China by significantly increasing the capabilities and survival of standard infantry.

Pre-war enterprise and military modules:

Before the bombs fell, Greenetech worked with various Commonwealth corporations to develop third-party modules for its platform. In the two hundred years since, these models’ designs have been scattered over wasteland, but not lost to those who dare to find them in the depths of pre-war ruins.

Modules of Institute

By reverse engineering the cybernetic modifications that the Institute implanted to Conrad Kellogg using information obtained from the Institute's network, Kellogg's cybernetics developed by the Institute can be integrated into the Greenetech system as modules. Designed and ideal for the harsh post-war world, these modules typically offer significant improvements in some areas over pre-war designs.

Steel Brotherhood Modules

The Steel Fellowship can also provide access to various implant schemes saved during the search for cream pre-war technology. Many of these schemes were mined on the West Coast and in the Capital Wasteland, and thus cannot be found anywhere in the Commonwealth.
