About This Mod

This is my first attempt to make a fashion, so please any feedback is welcome!

----------------------- UPDATES ------------------

NOVEMBER 30:

-Loaded version with lorestric (orange color, hand title, etc.). He currently has only a Paladin and a Guardian. Compatible with the red version.

NOVEMBER 27:

-Loaded basic textures (without decals) for body and weapon.

-The STR bonus from the set does not apply. Looks like there's a problem with the compiler tool, so there's not much I can do. But I'll keep an eye on it, and when a fix is found, I'll implement it. Version 1.1 has been released, which fixes the bonus from STR set.

-I'm inclined to leave this mod in its current state until the editing tools are more developed. Most likely, I will suggest another separate mod with one or only a few color schemes that you can use to change skins (just like people rewrite Jaws standard paints, but in this case they only add schemes, not replace them). However, I'm working on a more history-rigorous color scheme for this version of X-01 and will post it when I'm done.

NOVEMBER 26:

-I have a few requests for decals-free chassis, so I'll download one when I have the opportunity. To reduce the overhead and keep the mod relatively clean, I'll just download one version of each 1) completely without decals and 2) only with BoS. Then you can simply rename them to those body parts that you want to replace in the directory Data\Textures\Armor\PowerArmor\ and overwrite. I'll also include the texture of one hand, which you can use to remove stripes. I appreciate the feedback and am glad to hear that even if you don't like any of it, the rest is worth using.

-The value of the bonus for the STR set is studied

-Declarations on the shoulders are added to the to-do list, it may take some time - my workflow is pretty awful, but it is improving! It will also require a different .esp, so to not ask people to deal with a lot of changing textures and .esps, I won't post it until I can offer it as a separate version of the shoulder(s).

---------------- THE END OF THE ------------------- UPDATES SECTION

I wanted to show my BoS style in a new set of armor, so I made this little fashion. It allows you to individually color every detail through a normal power armor station, as you normally do. It has options for all Armor Slots for each rank from 1(Initiate) to 7(Elder).

Legs/helmets have the same appearance for all ranks.

The hands may have 1 or 2 stripes, depending on rank.

On the body there are insignia of BoS and rank for each rank.

Items have a bonus to the power of BoS if you wear all BoS (you can mix and match rank items). I did not add other stats - I gave each part a tiny, symbolic increase in damage reduction, and the strength of the parts is slightly above average, but I would just write it down to the excellent content of BoS ;)

The textures are included due to the basic change in appearance (less fat turtle and more steel). There are separate bodies for each rank, because I don't see the engine applying decals, except by replacing them with empty ones that are already placed - something none of the X-01 has. Given the current state of modding tools and my knowledge, I also failed to establish when each rank will be available, so they will all be available immediately if you have X-01 armor to paint.

For all other modders, for your information, the corresponding keyword "dn_HasMaterial_BOSRANK" has been added for all parts. I guess it's just adding a prefix (which exists because of T-60 versions), not sure there's any other effect.
