About This Mod
Glasses, eyepieces, raider's visor and Chinese prototype. Items can be upgraded on a workbench to create armor. Version 2.0 introduced mode switching and added additional multivision modes. All modes of vision can also be used to modernize helmets of heavy armor.
How to get items.
To create or improve these items, you need a scheme. Schemes are located in the Med-Tech Research lobby, under the table at the entrance, together with the invoice. After reading these diagrams, you can create objects in the Chemical Laboratory. The first level of the Armory and Science Park is also required.
High-tech glasses with a low probability will sleep on high-level shooters, and low-tech - on raiders and supermutants. They are also sold at around level 16 by Lucas Miller, Cricket, KLE-O and Proctor Tegan. However, found items cannot be modified until you have read the diagrams and acquired the necessary skills. In addition, you can make a large poster with diagrams of each subject.
The main visual modes are as follows:
- No vision (cosmetic)
- Night vision - has three levels of brightness. It is designed for dark places and to some extent mimics real night vision. The lens glows green.
- Thermal vision - 2 levels of brightness, illuminates all living creatures with red color. The corpses glow blue and are visible for 15 minutes after death, making it easier to find prey in the dark. The lenses glow red.
- Sight interface - familiar mode in power armor. Does not increase the intensity of light, but highlights the target. The lenses glow white.
- Multivision - a new mode that allows you to apply several effects on one eyepiece.
Each mode has a "cosmetic" version, in which the visual effects are not applied, and the lens simply glows in a different color.
All modes of vision can now be applied to helmets with heavy armor.
Secondary effects.
- VATS matrix - increases the accuracy of VATS by 10%.
- Range Sensor - Detects hard-to-reach enemies.
