About This Mod

This is an adaptation of the Cleric of the Sphere of Power subclass, one of several in Plane Shift: Amonhet :

DOMAIN SPELLS

1st level: Curse, Disguise

self 3rd level: Mirror, Loosening Ray

5th level: Curse Giving, Touch

Vampire Level 7: Death Protection, Door

9th level dimensions: Dominate a person, change memory > hold a monster


- Implemented as written, except as noted. Memory modification is a mascot-type spell, I think, so the substitution (since we already include the domination of a human), holding a monster adds a little power to a class with similar functionality.


Level 1

Defensive Flash - When you select this domain at 1st level, you can insert divine light between yourself and your attacking enemy. When you are attacked by a creature within 30 feet of you, you can use your reaction to put the attack roll at a disadvantage, causing the light to flash before the attacker hits or misses. An intruder who cannot be blinded is immune to this function.

You can use this function a number of times equal to your wisdom modifier (at least once). You recover all spent use when you finish a long rest.


- Implemented as written, except that the +1 skill is used instead of the Wisdom modifier. So 3 at 1st level, 4 at 5th, 5 at 9th. I think other mods should also add +1, as I think it scales better depending on what your modifier actually will be, given the exploits and improvements over time.


Level 2 Channel Deity

: Challenge duplicity - Starting at 2nd level, you can use your channel deity to create an illusory duplicate of yourself.

As an action, you create an ideal illusion of yourself that lasts for 1 minute or until you lose focus (as if you were concentrating on a spell). The illusion appears in an unoccupied space that you can see within 30 feet of yourself. As a bonus action on your turn, you can move the illusion up to 30 feet into a space that you can see, but it must remain within 120 feet of you.

Level 6

Canal Deity: Shadow Cloak - Starting at 6th level, you can use your canal deity to disappear. As an action, you become invisible until the end of the next turn. You become visible if you attack or cast a spell.

Invoke Duplicity II - Calls 2 duplicates instead of one for better battlefield manipulation


Level 8

Powerful Spell - Starting at 8th level, you add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you take from any cleric's cantrip.

Level 11

Invoke Duplicity III - Causes 3 duplicates instead of one for even better manipulation


17th Level battlefield

Improved Duplicity - At 17th level you can create up to four duplicates of yourself, instead of one when using Invoke Duplicity. As a bonus action on your turn, you can move any number of them up to 30 feet, up to a maximum distance of 120 feet.
