About This Mod
How the class works in a few words:
- Similar to fighter
- You have a dragon shape that gives you benefits such as better breathing, claws and the flying skill.
- You use Dracobinding cubes that start as d4 and improve as you level up. You can use them to enhance various Dragon Bond abilities such as Breath, Scary Presence, or Dragon Kara. These dice are updated each turn and you can get up to 3 (one at 1st level, one at 11th level and one in your dragon form)
- I would recommend a look at the PDF file available here. Several changes are described below
Changes made to class:
- Serpentine : No dragon-binding cube is needed to play it out. However, it will always use one cube (1d4, 1d6 or 1d8 depending on your level).
- When changing the look, the Dragon Shape charge (hand laying) is not used for disguise. The equipment rules are the same as in Baldur's Gate 3 for the Druid
- Transformation recovery at level 9 was replaced by an additional charge of Dragon Form and Dragon Form
- A target protected by a protective wind cannot use its reaction to move
- Great toxins are applied only to the poison from Toxic Coating. I'm not sure this should apply to all poisons, and I can't figure out how to modify it yet
- Dragon Master spells of 13th level have been moved to 10th level and have been modified.
- Arc Bombardment targets all enemies within range and ignores allies instead of selecting targets manually
- Poison Cloud was replaced by Cloudkill (I couldn't find a way to create it)
- Ring of Fire was replaced by Wall of Fire (I couldn't find a way to create it)
- Warding Frost imposes temporary health on all friendly nearby targets, including you
- Added a 9th level of dragon transformation.
Important Notes:
- I use existing action resources for Dracking Dice and Dragon Shape Charges (Supremacy Dice and Hand Charges) This can be a problem if you are planning a multi-class game
- Only the first 12 levels are available
