About This Mod
It is the 20th item in the DPRK collection, a commemorative statue of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
The object has the same credibility as the main socialist statues of the Soviet Union, but has large proportions, allowing it to appear to be the size of a very large country. There are no conflicts.
Cholim's Statue (Korean: ) is a monument located on Manju Hill in Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea. The monument symbolizes the Cheolim's "speed". Cholima, the legendary winged horse depicted on the monument, is said to have traveled 1,000 ri (400 km) a day.
The monument was built as a gift to President Kim Il-sung. It was built by the sculpture company Merit at the art workshop of Wansude. The statue was unveiled on April 15, 1961, President Kim Il-sung's 49th birthday. The monument was inspired by a speech by President Kim Il-sung to a group of rural amateur artists on March 7, 1961, entitled "Let's continue to develop the art of the people". The statue of Cholim was awarded the People's Prize.
The total height of the monument is 46 meters. The statue is 14 meters high and 16 meters long. The height of Cholima's two figures - a worker and a peasant woman - is 7 and 6.5 meters, respectively. A worker holds a document from the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea and a peasant woman holds a sheaf of rice. The figures are made of bronze, and the base - of granite.
