About This Mod
This mod replaces my previous mods and combines them into a single file.
Disables these screen effects:
Vignette - Disables bleaching at the edges of the screen during play and when aiming (ADS).
Fury - Disables the golden yellow screen effect in Fury mode. The anamorphic effect on the character model is still displayed as a visual indicator that you are in a rage mode.
Low HP - Disables excessive, pulsating red screen effect at low health. Does not affect temporary FX on hits.
Last Life - turns off the gray screen effect when you are in the last lifetime (fell twice). You can still tell that you're living your last life by the skull icon on the health scale.
Blood splashes - disables the effect of blood splashes on the screen. Does not affect the blood spatter displayed on characters.
Shield Regen - Disables the gold screen effect with hexagonal honeycombs when your shield is restored. Still shows anamorphic effect on character models as a visual indicator of when your shield is regenerating.
Letterbox, Chromatic Abberation, and Lens Distortion in Cinematics - Disables these unnecessary effects during in-game scenes. Replaces the existing, deprecated mod that was previously loaded on Nexus.
INSTALLATION:
YOU MUST RENAME THE CACHE FILE OR THE GAME WILL FALL WHEN STARTED!!!
YOU MUST CHECK FOR NEW PAK AND CACHE FILES AFTER EACH GAME UPDATE!!!
You can run additional batch script files to make deleting the cache file easier. Run "Delete-default_presets-cache.bat" to delete the cache file and "Restore-default_presets-cache.bat" to restore it.
Vortex Setup: RECOMMENDED
Please rename the file in "%GAME_FOLDER%\client_pc\root\paks\client\default\default_presets.pak.cache" to "default_presets.pak.cache.BKP".
Download the main file using the "Mod Manager Download" button.
Installing free files (manually): Use this method if you have other mods that should get into "default_presets.pak".
Download an additional file
Please rename the file in "%GAME_FOLDER%\client_pc\root\paks\client\default\default_presets.pak.cache" to "default_presets.pak.cache.BKP".
Optionally, create a backup copy of the file "%GAME_FOLDER%\client_pc\root\paks\client\default\default_presets.pak».
Install WinRAR if you don't already have one. It is completely free for non-commercial use.
Open WinRAR and navigate to "%GAME_FOLDER%\client_pc\root\paks\client\default\default_presets.pak» and open the file.
Drag the preset folder from the mod zip archive to the root directory of the pak file.
Click OK in the pop-up window.
If you have other files that you want to modify in this folder, repeat steps 5-7 for those files.
