AroAI is fully compatible and recommended. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/.id=2880152075 ****** For best results, install Lotus AI last in the order of installation ****** ###### General changes in AI behavior ##### # AI in general should be much better than before, declare war and generate the main formatting tag for the game. # AI should make more reasonable and realistic demands to the objectives of the battle. At least more player-friendly. In particular, there should be less bleeding at borders. This is not only true in vanilla AI. # AI should try to pass popular laws more often. # He must hire more generals and divide the army into smaller units to provide both defense and offensive. # The AI needs to launch maritime incursions much more frequently and aggressively than before, and not get stuck in wars anymore because it needs to conduct a maritime invasion, but it doesn’t know how. # AI will seek to annex vassals whenever possible and subjugate weaker states whenever possible. # The AI should be less willing to sit in dead-end wars indefinitely without going to a white war. # AI should settle for peace faster when it loses a war. The full list of changes is too long and has been removed from the description in Steam: https://github.com/bantbattlemage/Victoria3Mod ###### Changes at the beginning of the game ##### # All starting contract ports except Macau have been removed (it is no longer just a contract port, the tiles still belong to the respective lords) # Parma, Lucca and Modena have been removed from the Austrian Customs Union. This allows Italy to integrate all small countries more consistently. # The border between Mexico, the US, and Canada has been adjusted so that the AI can consistently emulate a net border (and the US can take over all of historic Mexico in one or two wars without falling into a ceasefire). The number of non-colonized territories has dwindled slightly, but the US usually spends a lot of time rebuilding them without help from Mexico or Canada. # Mexico and the US start a war with Texas to resolve the border situation and the issue of Mexico's withdrawal and ceasefire. # Hokkaido is now wholly owned by Japan. # AI very rarely selects colonization of the last piece of the Philippines since this little tag adds nothing to the game. # AI very rarely selects to colonize this part of Australia since this little tag adds nothing to the game. # Add Russian claims to two Central Asian provinces completely surrounded by the Caucasus. Level 40 barracks in Lower Egypt were downgraded to level 10, and level 10 barracks in Ankara were upgraded to level 30. Moreover, Adana now belongs entirely to the Ottoman Empire at the start of the game, as the Ottomans are still constantly being beaten by Egypt. # Mexico gained two naval bases on the 5th level because because because because AI she loved to declare war on the Caribbean and sometimes didn't realize that she didn't have ships to do that. Note: This fundamental problem has since been resolved, and AI no longer declares war on foreign powers if it does not have enough ships. # Liberia is no longer a US protectorate. This is the best possible solution at the moment to prevent the US from capturing the South Island in every game. There is no way to limit the colonization of countries outside strategic regions (because to capture Hawaii, they must have an interest in Oceania). ###### Changes in daily events/decisions ##### # The War of the Kingdom of Heaven now begins instantly after choosing a solution in the appropriate event, and the Kingdom of Heaven receives the additional purpose of the war in Qing # The Purchase of Alaska and the Canada Boundary Treaty no longer have any conditions other than the absence of war. This is done primarily to aid AI, but is technically simpler and more trivial for the player. # The US Civil War (if it is initiated by an event) now gives the CB annexation to both sides. The UK now has a copy of the Netherlands’ decision to grant the East India Company territory, and the AI gets it automatically. # Added the decision of the Netherlands to join all Dutch East Indies to the DEI and turn the DEI into a puppet. This requires the nationalism that AI gets. # Added the decision of the UK to attach all British Raj vassals to the British Raj. This becomes available after the Raj tag is activated by the East India Company (the AI usually gets it 20-30 years after the game starts). # AI believes that these new resolutions are necessary because of the reverse mechanism of annexing vassals; AI does not understand that in order to annex his own vassals he needs to reduce his relationship with the overlord and annex them He has little understanding of the need to reduce his relationship with the vassals he wants to annex, because in an EU4-type game he annexes well-connected vassals, not those who don't. # The UK and Netherlands added a decision to automatically annex the independent Raj and Dutch East Indies; IMO, if these labels have no mechanism or taste for being natives-ruled, then there is no reason for their independence. Worse, their independence is usually rooted in automatic peace treaties, owing to intertwined wars. # The requirement for colonial investment in the British Raj Ordinance was reduced from 5 to 3. It can be opened with the same requirements as the British Raj Ordinance. France now has the right to decide to annex Algeria if it is a French puppet. This is happening for the same reason, and it is clear that France intends to occupy Algeria from Algeria and has historically done so (although this was not the case in 1836). The problem is that the British and Spaniards tried to transfer their subjects to Algeria from France, and because Algeria is still French, Algeria has become an ugly border indeed. # Russia now intends to annex three small states in Central Asia if they are subordinate to Russia. # The protectorate of the Kingdom of Miskito was removed from the United Kingdom, as the United Kingdom could be involved in a senseless war with the United States. # Russia's claims to Kars (an Ottoman territory on the border with Ottoman Turkey, historically belonging to Russia) were added # Germany's decision to annex German subjects that it still held after the foundation of the German state was added.
