About This Mod
Technically, it does not overwrite vanilla files, so it must be compatible with most mods. Changed from: common/dynamic_country_names/ localisation/english/ Added official, more descriptive names for almost all the central nations in the game using scripts in the folder "dynamic_country_names". Within a week, I was writing a system to rename all the countries in a Hoi4-style game. This first iteration mainly focuses on the basic distinction between monarchy/republic/theocracy/Soviet republic, but there are plans to expand the naming to more specific scenarios. In the case of some countries, such as Japan, China, Mexico and Siam, it includes some changes in response to subsequent legal changes. Unlike other currently published mods, this mod does not use an automatic system based on the type of government; all names used by states were added manually using the Hoi4 system. Please let me know if there are any typos or missed states as wiki is not yet "complete" and I had to guess which states did not exist at the beginning of the game. This mod should be considered part of the 'Consistent Country Names' mod family that I created for Hoi4.
