About This Mod

**Brief description**


The modification of Better Interest Group Attraction significantly deepens the process of selection by pops of interest groups. In the basic version of Victoria 3, pops are primarily contiguous to interest groups based on fixed proportions related to their occupation, which is then adjusted by the popularity of the interest group leader. This makes pops excessively static and lifeless, blindly supporting a group of interests based on their profession, almost without taking into account what is happening in your country. Moreover, even fixed values implemented by Paradox can lead to strange results, such as South Plantists being weaker than the Villagers in Virginia at the beginning of the game.


This mod adds a significant number of modifiers to the attractiveness of interest groups, depending on factors such as the type of building in which the pops are occupied, its level of affluence and the laws in force. It also corrects some basic appeal values to fix some bugs and unsuccessful design decisions that Paradox had not fixed prior to release.


As a result, pops are attracted to interest groups based on their real interests and respond to your style of play. Imposing multiculturalism on uneducated populations? Watch them flock to the populism of Petty Bourgeoisie. Building a large military industry and announcing a bunch of rivals? Don't be surprised to see a huge group of interests in the Armed Forces hungry for war. Refuse to accept even symbolic economic reforms? Looks like everybody's joining the unions. In general, the game should become more realistic and complex for the "cheese", where pops are distributed according to the groups of interests according to what is important to them.

**Compatibility**


Better Interest Group Attraction includes localization for all languages supported by Victoria 3. This mode must be compatible with any mode that does not add or change interest groups.
