About This Mod
Sometimes less developed countries are hitting the infrastructure ceiling and having to wait until they study the railways. This mode allows for the construction of canals to increase infrastructure and transport. They are inferior to railways, cost a little less to build, and benefit about half as much, but at least something can be done while waiting for the railways.
States with rivers will receive increased capacity for canals, and deserts will receive reduced capacity. Major rivers such as the Nile and Mississippi receive +50%, while smaller rivers receive +20%.
