About This Mod

What's this mod about?


Adds a publicly available trade resource - newspapers, and a luxury resource - magazines, as well as appropriate buildings, technologies, production methods and balance changes. Compatible with vanilla AI.


Description


Newspapers are the essence of the Victorian spirit. It is strange that Paradox did not add this key product initially. I tried to bring the balance and atmosphere closer to Vanilla. Newspapers are commodities consumed by the population according to their standard of living. Magazines are a luxury item that is consumed together with other "household needs". Develop markets for these resources, balance supply and demand — and you won’t even notice that it’s not part of the vanilla game.

- How can it be that the demand for newspapers is formed not from literacy, but from living standards? And why don't newspapers improve literacy? That breaks the dive, right?
