Western Clothes Flavour Western Clothes Flavour (WCF) is a submode of Snori's Adopt Western Clothes, which introduces a new Westernization mechanism that makes the Westernization process more dynamic than just clicking a button. WCF works on top of AWC and involves a long process of gradual westernization of your country by westernizing the population and characters. The speed of your country’s Westernization depends on the influence of your interest groups: the more influential progressive IS helps to speed up the process, and the more traditionalist to slow it down. The game expects the process to take about two years, but this time can vary greatly depending on national circumstances. In addition, the conditions for the beginning of Westernization have been expanded. Instead of the intelligentsia in power and landowners without power, progressive IS should be influential. Moreover, either one of the progressive IS must be influential, or the head of state must belong to one of the progressive IS. As Westernization progresses, leaders of various IS and segments of the population will adopt Western fashions at different points in time. The first Westernizers will be your national leaders and their successors (if any), as well as your military and bureaucracy. This is because the progressive rich can afford new clothes and are more open to matching their Westernized peers. This process continues until the aristocracy, peasants, and farmers eventually become Westernized, representing both a reluctance to deviate from tradition and the consequences of living simply away from urban centers. All the details are provided in the game through diary entries that begin simultaneously with the Westernization trigger.Compatibility with MOD in WCF is built in the ability to interact with Gas, Guns, Garb and Grub, and the adoption of a certain military form PM will somewhat facilitate the passage of Westernization. This function is completely optional and is processed automatically. If 4G is not installed and enabled, all text and modifiers associated with it will be hidden and disabled without your participation.WCF will not be able to use it if East Asian Outfits patch is installed, blue0 has been confirmed to work with East Asian Outfits mod from China, compatibility patch with FUN universal names can be found here. — This mod overwrites the following files in AWC: common/decisions/snori_decisions.txt common/scripted_triggers/snori_korean_clothes_triggers.txt snori_ decisions.txt is overwritten with spaces to completely disable the Westernization solution originally added to AWC. snori_korean_clothes_triggers.txt defines the logic used by AWC to determine which things are considered Westernized. The logic goes as follows: - "Westernized countries" were redefined as having a major culture with features of European cultural heritage (the original AWC logic instead took religion into account). - To gradually westernize a certain character, the current progress of the country's westernization is taken into account (in the original AWC logic, all are westernized at once). Modes that modify a Westernization trigger are incompatible. All other files of this mode are original for WCF and do not cause serious conflicts with other modes. Modders: Do not use the `snori_kor_clothes_modifier modifier to check if the country Westernization of WCF has ended and removed all logic implementing this modifier. The script trigger and the `snori_clothes_decision_taken` variable still exist and should be used instead. Installation order The recommended installation order is: - Adopt Western Clothes - Flavour of Western Clothes WCF does not need to be placed directly under AWC, it can be placed anywhere in the game kit, closer to the bottom than AWC. The only requirement is that the WCF is not placed above the AWC. During the test, users using EAC, EACP, and/or 4G successfully used the following boot order.
