About This Mod

This mod adds the following 6 types of streets:

  • Medium street with narrow bus area
  • Medium street with narrow area for trucks
  • Large street with a narrow bus area
  • Large street with narrow area for trucks
  • Very large street with a narrow bus area
  • Very large street with a thin area for trucks

Although these streets provide good visual views for the bus/truck area, more importantly, they provide a bus/truck retractable lane that helps transport to continue. I call them "Thin" areas for buses/trucks because the lanes have been narrowed to add an extra lane for buses/trucks, while keeping the same street width (medium, large or very large).

This mod is not a bus/truck stop. The street must be paved, then the bus/truck stop must be added. Some ask, why not just set up a bus/cargo station? The advantage is that AI can build along these streets. This does not generally apply to a real bus or freight station.

To achieve the best results, I propose to lay a new street. You may need practice to align zone markings. When laying the street, you need to offset the layout a little. When a connecting street is added, the zone markup will be adjusted. Although the existing road can be upgraded, I personally don't like the result because the zone markings don't match the length of the road segment in the game.
