About This Mod

As you have probably encountered very often, the construction of streets, tracks, stations and other objects can be very annoying if a densely built area has many warnings about a collision. For assets/structures, this can be circumvented by using "skipCollision=true", so you can build despite the collision, but no longer get any feedback. For streets/paths this has not been possible until now.

Now it is! With the help of Build with collision you can ignore almost all the problems that arise during the construction of streets, paths and structures (collision, too high a slope, too great a curvature). When you create a sentence that is not typically applicable (but is not critical), the Build Anyway button appears.

  • For streets and tracks, the button is displayed next to the cursor, as in the case of "Track/Street Builder Info". Eventually, due to collisions and unwanted bindings, you will have to work with the "new Shift key" (default: C).
  • For builds/assets, just right click!
  • Updates can now also be made with a simple right-click.
  • A bulldozer with a collision. Sometimes, the game does not allow bulldozing (such as running on a bridge support), which can now be bypassed. DO NOT use it when vehicles are isolated or in a depot!

This opens up a whole new window of opportunity for Schönbau. In addition, you don't have to turn off the collision or change track settings, you can still detect problems, but resolve them on purpose. On the other hand, you are in this case responsible for collisions on overlapping lanes.

With this possible tracks on the streets, streets in airports and many other ideas.

So it would be great if other modders developed special streets/tracks for this! (e.g. invisible streets, streets with tram tracks, rails downgraded to street level, ...)
