Classes G and D – Soviet metro trains
About This Mod
This set includes 3 types of trains of the Soviet subway: Class G, Class D and Class UM5 (freight version).
Development of this new subway train began immediately after the opening of the Moscow Metro in 1933. Due to various troubles, the first G-class train was not built until 1940.
After World War II, several trophy B4 subway trains were delivered from Berlin to Moscow. Based on their design features, the G-class subway trains were created. They become much easier and more reliable than the G-class trains.
The UM5 class is a prototype of the new class D subway trains, which was created on the basis of technical features borrowed from the German B4 subway trains. The car UM5-805 worked in a passenger train until the 70s, and then was rebuilt in freight.
Please note: Due to the game's restrictions, these are diesel trains.
It is highly recommended to use these trains with the 3rd rail of the Soviet model.].

- Class G subway train (1940-1955)
- Class D subway train (1955-1963)
