8,000 gallon tanks

There's a whole bunch of cisterns in this fashion, vaguely based on a 1917 design that I saved on my computer, and on which there's too much photocopier burning for me to identify the manufacturer. The 3d model is old and not very good, but I hope it is an improvement over the TPF1 model.

Questions that nobody asked, but I'll answer anyway

Where are my favorite railways of 1917? you didn't make skins for PRR/N&W/Frisco/UP/FEC/BNSF???

The railways retired from the tanker business almost immediately after the invention of tankers in the immediate post-war era. Delivering oil to tidal water from Pittsburgh or Cleveland was economical only if you had the same amount of liquid to deliver back to Cleveland or Pittsburgh, otherwise it makes far more sense to instruct someone else to own cars and charge them a fixed mileage fee. Well, then why not a Standard Oil car?

UTLX was part of the Standard Oil cartel, which also involved all your favorite railways. They did not like to advertise this fact on the wagons, because then people could notice and make noise that there was only one oil company that shipped only one tanker.

It sounds bad, I will avoid these cars because I keep competition in the free market. Thank God Teddy Roosevelt broke the monopoly of Standard Oil and saved capitalism. Anyway, I guess there's nothing worse there!

Yes, no, that's the least:

-Technical gas - I actually do not know anything about these guys, I just liked the logo. Probably some kind of commercial natural gas distributor with a fuel oil division.

-Sinclair Oil is an oil company based in New York, which currently mainly deals with distribution to the west.

-UTLKS - Union Tank Car Line, part of the Standard Oil/PRR cartel for the monopolization of the oil industry on the East Coast, which also survived the collapse of Standard Oil and continues to monopolize the distribution of oil and oil products to this day.

-Penn Salt is formerly a simple salt mining company, later a producer of many unpleasant chemicals (mostly chlorine), but you know that you need unpleasant chemicals for a modern society. I'm not sure of any particular disasters these guys have caused. (Quakers win again!)

- Hooker's chemical company - buried some nasty chemicals in Niagara Falls and allowed an elementary school to be built on the site many years later, which led to many long-term illnesses in these children later. Look up the channel of Love.

-Texaco, a big dumb Texas oil company, supplied Franco a hell of a lot of fuel during the Spanish Civil War, supplied the Nazis with information about the movements of American merchant ships during World War II.

-DuPont - They produce a lot of chemicals, and a lot of those chemicals go to bombs, and a lot of those bombs go to kindergartens, weddings and hospitals.

-Ethyl Corporation - whoa boy. They made lead in leaded petrol. Look, I'm a materialist, and I think economic conditions are the cause of social problems, but, hell, atmospheric lead correlates well with violent crime.
