About This Mod
Prototypes are cool
In 1985, Metro-Cammell developed the Sprinter prototype, the Class 151. The unit was designed as a lightweight aluminum body with a single 275 hp engine under each wagon.
The units were to some extent successful, operated until 1989, and finally decommissioned in 2004. They have a variety of non-standard parts that did not help their lifespan, but these units are leading the way for units of class 156, 158 and 159.
