About This Mod

Have you ever been outraged by the fact that any button on cutscenes closes the lower middle of the screen with a skip tip right from the late 2000s that not only disrupts your immersion in the game, but also spoils the full potential of screenshots of the next few frames? #MeToo. I was actually angry enough to spend hours looking for a solution, and... It turned out to be much, much simpler than I had expected. So basically, I reduced the size of the animation files to 0. Yeah, it was that simple. I won't go into detail about what solutions I've tried, because, frankly, the whole process has embarrassed me. However, I confess that the only reason I made this mod was because the process of trying to make it broke me a few weeks ago, and I couldn't forget whatever happened, so one night I decided to try again, and voila! It worked out. Why am I telling you all this? Well, I needed to talk. The whole situation was very unpleasant. But I think most of you also want to learn more about this fashion:

I made two versions. In the first version, the tooltip and the shadow are removed, while in the second version the tooltip is removed, but the shadow is left. Both versions have a frame rate of 48 frames per second. Why 48 frames per second? The original file was 24 frames per second, and 60 seems inappropriate, but whatever, changing the frames in the flash file in any case gives nothing but acceleration. To get the right animation at 60 frames per second, someone would have to redo it manually, and this process is a complete hassle. You should give this mode priority over Smooth GUI. Enjoy yourself, I think.

The mod will likely not work correctly on 1.31-1.32 because it is based on 'Next Gen' files that have been updated. If you're playing classic, use the original mod. I highly recommend you install Skip Dialogs so you don't have to press the space button 200 times to skip a bunch of dialogs.

Why did you create this mod?

The mod created by Strahlimeier was broken by 4.0+ updates. Not to mention that I'm not even sure that our fashion uses the same methods to achieve the same effects.

How did you create this mod?

All files in this fashion were exported using Wolvenkit personally by me from version 4.04 of the game and edited using JPEXS Free Flash Decompiler personally by me... Personally. I opened the file hud_dialog.redswf, located at gameplay\gui_new\swf\hud in Wolvenkit, then clicked CSwfResource #0 and went to SwfResource, then clicked MD5 Hash and exported the file. I opened the exported .swf in JPEXS and went to DefineSprite (144: SkipIndicator) in the sprites folder and clicked on each animation file, then clicked transform > scale and changed the height of the animation to 0 and clicked save, which should be roughly the same place as the transform button used to be. After that, I clicked "save as" in the top left corner of the program and chose .gfx (if you choose .swf, you will encounter errors such as not playing the animation and displaying strange colors). After saving the file, I went back to Wolvenkit and clicked SwfResource MD5 Hash again, then selected "import" and selected the .gfx file. I packed the mod and was thrilled to see that it worked in the game. One of the reasons I went into these details is that there is little information on the network about this process. I learned this from hiding on modding service and Nexus. Yeah, maybe I could ask someone more information, but it's not interesting to do that. However, I have to warn all of you that Flash files are a complete and absolute crap. I don't recommend modifying them.
