About This Mod

This mod includes modifications to the rendering.xml and rendering.ini parameters to improve and optimize the overall graphics quality.

These graphical settings have been implemented for those who perceive ray tracing as being excessively "noisy" or interfering, and want to avoid activating adverse and intrusive anti-aliasing techniques (FXAA, TAUU, FSR, DLSS, XeSS) that, rather than dampening noise or interference, exacerbate the problem and result in a blurred and mixed visual effect.

- This mod is for Next-Gen version only.

- Compatible with DX11 and DX12 Optimized for 1440p resolution under 60fps or 90fps, without ray tracing. Recommended GPUs are 6800XT or similar for optimal performance with Ultra+ preset.

- Modifies presets to improve visual effects: improves quality and distance to shadows, rendering of terrain, tessellation of water, distance to draw trees and grass, and particle effects.

- There is a performance decrease of about 10% on the RX 6900XT NITRO+ Special Edition. The frame rate in Novigrad, Oxenfurt and Toussaint with these settings reaches 90-120 frames per second.

- These configuration and initialization files are compatible with various mods including new textures and models. Be sure to follow the instructions provided by the specific mods to ensure compatibility.

- This mode fixes a minor error in the graphical post-processing option "sharpen" (SharpenAmount).

Simply drag the bin folder into the game directory.

The backup folder "bin" is available in the files section!

For those experiencing performance issues:

Set an average or high value for the grass density and select an average value for the number of non-playable characters. This will significantly reduce the load on the GPU and CPU, respectively. Leave the rest on Ultra+. Also turn off blur, motion blur, vignetting, chromatic aberration, sharpening, and camera lens effects.

However, in the case of a role-playing game like this, where the gameplay is more focused on immersion and storytelling rather than fast tempo/fast action, you may find that a slightly lower frame rate does not greatly affect the overall impression of the game.

N.B.

If a game crashes, it may be due to your hardware or mod list. You may have changed something in the 'content' or 'bin' folders, or you may have conflicts with other mods that modify the rendering.xml and/or rendering.ini files. I hope I helped you.
