About This Mod

BlitzFX is changing the rendering system of The Witcher 3 to bring its visual quality to a new level.

The mod adds the following new features and improvements:


Improved shading and animation of the water surface

Underwater caustics and fog with a beam march

Temporal Antialiasing (TAA)

Dynamic aurors

HDR. bloom and motion blur

Strengthen soft contact shadows

Contact and long shadows in the screen space

Normal Shadow Display

Refractive raindrops

Bocke's depth of field

Improved sun rendering

Improved Tone Display

Decrease color bars

Custom lighting of playable characters

Cinematic boundaries are set separately for scenes and gameplay

Custom Vignette

All aspects of fashion can be customized in the settings.


Installation


Install Community Patch - Shared Imports

Download the main file and extract the contents of the archive into the Witcher 3 software installation directory

Give BlitzFX the highest priority among all your mods

Turn off motion blur in postprocessing settings

In-game smoothing must be enabled for the TAA to work properly.

If you plan to use the HDR Bloom effect from this mode, it is recommended to disable bloom and light shafts in the post-processing settings.

If the sparks and ignites are too red to taste, try using an additional "Blitz Igni" file.


Configuration


Press F8 to open BlitzFX Preferences

Compatibility


Compatible with lighting modes

Compatible with ReShade; Before installing this mode, make sure that the .dll file ReShade is called dxgi.dll, not d3d11.dll.

Some effects do not appear correctly in Ansel Super Resolution mode

The lack of artificial lighting for players may prevent scenes from being detected for cinematic boundaries
