About This Mod
This mode improves the sound of a thrown grenade striking/colliding. In some of the situations I've encountered, I didn't even know that a grenade had fallen near me. This mod will help us hear them more often.
The game has a lot of sound files to work with. grenade strike sounds are no exception. I edited 103 of them for this fashion. there were more, but I only worked with small files.
I raised all 103 small files by 5 and 10 dB. Big files sound like grenades rolling around and stuff, not like tinh-tinh sounds thrown at you. with time, big testing and input, i should be able to customize it more... if need be. there are probably some sounds that shouldn’t have been or didn’t need editing. finding what is will take a long time. so, yes, it’s only a bootstrap. the changes will come in the future, most likely.
Install:
throw only one, "MoreLoudGrenadeImpactxdb...pak" in "...\STALKER 2 Heart of Chornobyl\Stalker2\Content\Paks\~mods".
