About This Mod
Includes binaural sound and sound occlusion, as well as other sound enhancements from UE5.

If you like it, please download it and click the approval button.
If there is no "Engine.ini" file in the folder, just create it!
-Go to: Steam: "C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Stalker2\Saved\Config\Windows»
Xbox GamePass: "C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Stalker2\Saved\Config\WinGDK»
-Locate the file "Engine.ini" and open it in Notepad.
-Add these settings:

bEnableMultiCoreRendering=True
(au.EnableSoundOcclusion= can be set to 0 for better performance, but you will lose the occlusion effect. In principle, this makes the sounds behind the wall not drown out)
The following options may take a bit of your CPU performance, you don't need it, but if you want the best, you're here!
-Go to: Steam: "C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Stalker2\Saved\Config\Windows»
Xbox GamePass: "C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Stalker2\Saved\Config\WinGDK»
-Locate the file "GameUserSettings.ini" and open it in Notepad.
-Change these 2 parameters:
AudioQualityLevel=3
LastConfirmedAudioQualityLevel=3
| 0 = Vanilla, 1 = Medium, 2 = High, 3 = Ergasm |
(Change both values to the same, 1 is a good place if you want to get some performance back but still improve the sound quality.)
For my personal settings, I found that since I mainly use GPUs in this game, I didn't get any performance degradation.
It was only when I changed the audio quality settings that I saw some performance degradation.
