About This Mod

Vanilla Psycasts Expanded is our masterpiece, our greatest, most elaborate, complex and visually beautiful fashion to date. As always, it all started with us being unhappy with the way Psychists worked out in the Royalty expansion. As a result, we wanted to expand that concept.


Inspired by games such as World of Warcraft, Stellaris and Path of Exile, we have developed a completely new system that will make psi-casting truly valuable while preserving the dystopian world of RimWorld. Maud doesn't add fantasy character classes, hurls fireballs to the right and left, doesn't cast sacred magic spells to ward off demons, etc. He simply talks about the mystical psychic abilities granted by the connection with the Arcotec.


A complex system of elevation rewards meditation and allows ability points to be distributed in different directions. Ultimately, it's up to you whether you become a fire mage, speak wildlife, dominate animals, or combine both - as is typically the case in RPGs - you can also spend upgrade points on improving the overall health of your psi-caster.


In rare cases, enemies can send their strongest psychasters. They will use all their unlocked abilities to defeat you, so make them a priority. Psycasters are rare in raids, and you will be warned in advance that an enemy raid uses a psychaster.
