About This Mod

Think about creating a small but useful turret.


In a typical Rimworld game, it looks like this:


The settler sits at a research desk and spends five weeks on it.

In Research Reinvented fashion, the process can look like this:


Conducting reverse engineering of captured turrets.

Analyzing an old, broken turret to extract knowledge.

Examination of raw materials for their suitability for turret armor.

Steel experiments to find alternatives to barrels.

Determination of the best modifications for submachine gun or autopistol, which can be used in turrets.

Prototyping a turret, even if it takes longer, and you will need to adjust the final product.

The use of such methods of research can significantly accelerate research progress. In the absence of such a possibility, one can use "Theoretical research", whose speed will be similar to the speed of vanilla studies (the speed can be adjusted in the fashion parameters if you want to stimulate the search for possibilities).


Research opportunities are created dynamically based on the research projects already unlocked in your game.


Most mods are supported "out of the box", right after installation.


Fashions that simply change the selection of research projects (ResearchPal, Semi Random Research, Dubs' Mint Menus, etc.) will work without problems.


In some cases, there may be exceptions to mods that make their own research systems.


Harmony is required.
