"Priority Treatment Ressurected" mod
About This Mod
Makes providing health care an urgent priority for your settler doctors.
Since the Shotgunfrenzy base mode is no longer functional, I decided to figure out how to implement a similar one (the obsolete way of setting the emergency priority no longer works - in fact, the game's default files set them as emergency).
This mod requires Harmony and by default forces your medics to give priority to any patient who bleeds out. Customizable options are also available to provide emergency care for any illness, and to wake sleeping medics when a patient needs care.
What this mod does NOT do:
The mod does not check every tick to determine whether a settler needs medical attention, nor interrupt the medical officer performing the task. Instead, medical care for bleeding colonists is becoming a priority again—meaning that health care practitioners will care for the sick before taking care of themselves (food, sleep, rest).
This means that if the doctor is currently engaged in a thrilling game of foosball, he will finish his game before taking care of any settlers. You can get them to start a new job (which should be a trend) by creating a project and then canceling it (the old RR method).
Verified on a saved game with more than 100 active mods without any problems or performance impact. Please report any bugs or incompatibilities you encounter!
Compatibility:
Wake Up - can be used together, although somewhat redundant. If you are using Wake Up, make sure the "wake up for care" option in this mode is disabled. Nothing bad will happen if it doesn't, it's just unnecessary.
Some reports of bizarre animal behavior in the presence of additional animal modes are currently studying this.
