About This Mod

Outland is a series of medieval/fantasy mods created by "Neronix17" to turn RimWorld into a fantasy game. Thematic modules based on certain themes and factions will be added over time. Please see the collection for currently available modules.

It is the main module of the Outlands MOD series, which is an integral part of other add-ons. It contains everything that is used in other modules, many of which can be used without them (especially furniture, scenery and buildings).

The mod consists of the following:

There is already too much on the Steam Workshop page to properly list everything that is included in this mod (even links to images exceed the character limit). And there will be a lot more to add.

So far, O21 Wiki has been used to describe this mode information. If you want to know more about this fashion or other mods of the author "Neronix17", please go there.

The Wiki source for Avanpost 21 has not been maintained or developed by the author since July 2022 due to too many ads on this site.

From the Neronix17 post: "Due to the large amount of ads on this platform (I didn't notice when I started using it, I use AdBlocker), I switch to using the description of Steam Workshop as much as possible. And if necessary, I'll create a wiki on GitHub to replace the pages here. For now, we will keep this wiki on standby in case we need it."

Cause.

Incompatible mods.

Medieval Overhaul - fixed (added compatibility with cubes), but this mod is growing and cannot be easily processed.

However, this mod is growing and cannot be easily processed.

This mod still works, it's just that it has two different types of bones, and in the future they may even cross over.

Blood and Bones - This mode conflicts when used with Rim of Madness. No satisfactory solution to this problem has yet been found.

A patch has been added for compatibility:

Rim of Madness - Bones - added bone compatibility. This means that the dice from Outland will remain in the game, but their properties will remain the same.

RoM-Bones fashion textures have been added to the Outland - Core fashion.

This patch can theoretically affect some other mods. The discussion can be found on the Steam Fashion page.

[O21] Dragons Not Included - the content of this mod is identical to the content of "Outland - Core", so I added a patch to remove the duplicate mod "Dragons Not Included".

The author strongly recommends that you do not add Outland to existing registrations, as these patches may have unintended and unintended consequences.

Not supported:

CE is not supported. This means that even if we harmonize it on their side, they won't want to support it while it's on the same list. Simple.

The author is not aware of the other incompatibilities.

Recommended Modes.

First of all, we recommend you to read the list of currently available Outland mods in the mods collection at the top of the description. There's no point listing them all here, and there's no need to update the description every time the series has a new extra mod (you'll probably forget about it).

Recommended list of mods.

"Mod Medicine Patch" - allows you to display modified medicines on the health tab to better control the medicines used by pawns.

Problems.

Fashion authors themselves do quite a lot of testing, but of course, everything goes awry. So.

If you have a problem that you want to report, be sure to open the HugsLib log (Ctrl+F12) along with the problem message. Otherwise, in most cases you will not know what happened and it will not help you solve the problem.

Frankly, if you don't open it (the magazine) right away, I probably won't answer, because if you go back in time and ask me a question, you never get an answer.

The conditions for reporting this issue are mainly described here, so I will not repeat them.

FAQ (frequently asked questions):

Please add [what you want].

- As a contributor to the author's Patreon (Patreon), you get answers to these questions and previews of all new issues long before they are ready. Only if I get the module.

"I don't set a release date. Honestly, it is better not to do it, because it is difficult to stick to it.

I have a great idea.

- No, as long as I think your idea is excellent or necessary, I will do what I want, not what you want.

Can I add customization to change something?

- No, I can't. I can change an idea if I think it's great or necessary. If this isn't a ready customization, we won't add it on demand.

Why don’t you share [random content]?

"Because I don't want to do it. My decision already has everything I need.

How long did it take you to do that by yourself?

- Full development of the series began in mid-2021. The actual time of this module is unknown.

Fantastic vehicles.

- Vehicles is not even out of beta yet. Don't ask, we won't answer.

Can you disable technologies that are not appropriate for this framework?

- Not yet. It is a module for converting or removing something from vanilla so that it makes sense as part of a medieval/fantasy theme.

Can I prevent these races from appearing in vanilla factions, or change the speed at which they appear?

- Yes, you can do both in Tabula Rasa's fashion settings. I'm in touch with my race right now, and I can do both very easily.

Team and thank you.

- Neronix17 - Art, XML, C#.

- Gloomylynx - Most of the furniture is based on "Gloomy Furniture" fashion made by them.

- Rim of Madness - Bones" - Bones are based on bones from their fashion for uniformity.

- Vagabond/Edmund Wulfgarth - Original design on which some garments are based.

- The creator of this fashion series uses a frame.
