"Need Bar Overflow" mod
About This Mod
Pawns’ needs bars are no longer limited to a 100% bar.
In the original game, when a pawn eats a full portion of a meal, about 10%-20% of the food goes to waste, because hunger hits the 100% mark; the situation is exacerbated when children, modified races with small build, or small animals are taken into account. Likewise, if a colonist just wakes up and decides to use his daily dose of vigor or Ya-yo, the effect is simply wasted. Coping with this requires a lot of micromanagement, or total disregard for food and medicine.
This mode allows you to temporarily exceed the levels of food and other needs. Chickens can now digest a whole bush without losing food. Large portions of food (with meals > 1) now also make sense. You can also put your colonists on a regular wakeup schedule and know that they will always get the full +100% rest effect. Legendary armchair made of trumbofur fur and golden statue will now also be able to give the maximum comfort and beauty that they are capable of.
The pawns will still perceive 100% as their limit. Consequently, they would not deliberately attempt to exceed their needs scales when they were almost full. If their food level is close to 100%, they will not start eating (they need to feed to raise their food level even higher), but after reaching 100% of rest, they will immediately wake up (they need to force to rest (they need other modes of recreation) or use drugs to raise their level of rest even higher), and after reaching 100% of entertainment, they will stop playing (they need to force to rest (they need other modes) / use drugs to raise the level of entertainment even higher).
