About This Mod
Save our ship2mode will serve as overhaul of space flights for Rimworld. Build orbital fortifications, explore the ruins of ancient ships and travel back and forth through the distant decks of the world of LIMU!
In the world of Vanilla LIMU, the ship's only purpose is to serve as an expensive winning condition. Starting in the middle of the second half of the game, Sos2 aims to make it a real game element. When you build a base ship and put it into orbit, it plays many roles: a (mostly) raid-free place to store a small amount of booty/settlers, a pool of resources when expanding it to a full-fledged space station and, most importantly, an orbiting mission. a launch point and a quick way to get anywhere in the world. Getting a ship into orbit with Sos2 is much easier than with Vanilla. The mother ship only needs bridges, sensors, shuttle compartments and a chemical-fueled engine to fire. Once you get there, you can expand it to the content of your mind.
Sos2 treats jumps from the planet differently than its predecessor. Instead of starting a new game, you'll be able to jump between worlds at the touch of a button after creating the Johnson-Tan Decky engine. In the past, the whole world was saved, and you can visit the planet again. When you leave Earth, you can transfer ownership of your colony to an allied faction, and if you choose to return, that faction will probably be grateful enough for the descendants to give you a gift.
