About This Mod

You don't use mortars with anti-gravity warheads because the colonists always miss? With this fashion, you can dispel this misconception. Your colonists will be able to use science and technology to accurately calculate mortar fire!




A set of options to increase/decrease the accuracy of mortar fire, which can be adjusted in the menu of fashion settings. These changes affect all mortar fire, including enemy mortars. Changes include:


Fighting moving targets!

Weather: Accuracy of mortar fire depends on weather and time of day (in vanilla, mortar shots are rarely weather dependent).

Settler Skill: The accuracy of the mortar depends on the settler's intelligence and shooting skill (in vanilla, the skill is irrelevant).

Removed missed chance restriction: mortars no longer missed due to cover surrounding the target (in vanilla, covering the target resulted in a miss).

The hit preview shows the hit radius for the current colony/weather and settings (the mode settings may display the blast radius instead).

You can adjust how tall colonists will increase the accuracy of their mortars and how short colonists will lose precision.

By default, colonists with the maximum skill increase the accuracy of the mortar by 75%. Unqualified colonists affect the mortar accuracy by -50% of normal. These values can be changed in the fashion settings (if necessary, all skill levels can be set to 100% perfect accuracy).
