«Mashed's Bloodmoon» mod
About This Mod
A completely redesigned version of the original Morrowind expansion pack - Bloodmoon, implemented at a much higher level and with much more experience. It now includes a full-featured, customizable and improved lycanthropy system.
About once a month (30 days), the Hunter's Moon rises above the world, flooding it with terrible blood light. During this period, flocks of wild werewolves raid settlements and attack trade caravans. These werewolves can contract a disease called Sanies Lupinus, which, if untreated, eventually evolves into latent lycanthropy. On the next ascent of the Hunter's Moon, the infected will survive their first transformation.
The frequency of attacks and their strength can be changed in the fashion settings. After the werewolf awakens after the first transformation, he is given the opportunity to reincarnate at will, as well as to improve and modify his beast form. Although most of the advantages (and disadvantages) are active only in the form of the beast, some effects persist in human form:
Immunity to a number of diseases and reduced likelihood of food poisoning.
They take more damage from weapons made of silver, and also experience a negative mood effect when wearing items made of silver.
It is always difficult for them to sleep well. They don’t get bonuses from sleeping in luxury apartments or barracks - instead, they will get a mood penalty after sleeping. The true nature of the werewolves is revealed in the animal form. All of their shortcomings are amplified, but in return they gain full access to their advantages.
In animal form they are:
They are completely unable to work and speak.
They can eat corpses and raw food without any negative consequences.
They cannot use weapons, but have powerful claws and fangs.
They have increased survivability and accelerated wound healing, but become more vulnerable to fire, poisons and silver.
