Geological Landforms addon
About This Mod
Add 27 landscapes to the game that are generated independently of the biome.
The goal of this fashion is to make making a map more interesting and diverse than the usual process, where there may be rocks or coastlines at one end of the map.
The shape of the selected world is displayed in the Features section of the Terrain tab of the world map. Some landscapes are created only for cells with the correct temperature range, rainfall, and other conditions.
Depending on the shape of the terrain, this can have a huge impact on the gameplay, making the game both easier and much more difficult in different ways. For example, islands and archipelagos are very far away, with very little rock and ore being mined, canyons and faults are very dangerous and contain a lot of ore, but few natural resources such as food, light, trees and places for growing plants. Or keep animals.
The terrain is optimized for the standard card size (250x250). A larger map is also allowed, but if the map is too small, some terrain shapes may not be generated correctly.
The long-term game effects of the landscape have not been tested, so the mod is currently in beta testing, and some modifications may need to be made. If you have any problems or suggestions, please leave a comment.
