About This Mod

This mod adds improved versions of gene extractors that will extract genes from characters until all available genes are collected. The improved version is also capable of extracting archived genes.


Under standard settings, the extractor will extract one gene every 8 days without using gene reproduction. You can just leave the character in the extractor, and as long as there's electricity and food, the gene bags will continue to be produced.


If the food runs out or the electricity is cut off, the characters will die in 2 days, as with conventional biotech vats for growing. The mod includes Gene Vat extractors. You put the character in a vat and provide him with food. Then the vat will slowly extract genes from the person in it, preferring genes that you don't have in a single specimen (a set of genes with that gene and nothing else).


One of three types of gene sets may appear in vats.
