"Faction Control" mod
About This Mod
Faction Control provides you with a variety of configuration options that allow you to customize which and how many faction groups, as well as faction bases, are displayed on your map. Simply go to "Fashion Settings" in the game's Options menu.
You can set the total number of faction groups that will appear on your world map (from 0 to 30), as well as separately set the minimum number of groups for each faction. If necessary, you can completely eliminate certain fractions. So you can create, for example, a world without tribal groups, or without outsiders, or without pirates, or perhaps a planet where the only groups are pirate gangs.
The mod gives you the same level of control over individual mod-added fractions (up to 42) as it does for vanilla fractions. For example, if you're playing with a mod that adds multiple interconnected factions, of which you only want to see some in your world, you'll be able to adapt the planet accordingly. (It also allows you to choose which mod factions you want to use in each particular game, without disabling or removing mods that add them.)
As the total number of factions in your world increases, so will the number of groups hostile to you. So, unlike most mods that increase the number of factions, this mod will not allow you to create a world with 30 faction groups, of which only three will be hostile.
You can also adjust the density of faction bases on the world map, creating planets where each group of factions has only a few bases, or densely populated planets with settlements throughout the map.
Maud gives you the ability to organize bases geographically, with bases of each faction group in close proximity to each other, so that the planet looks like it is inhabited by real nations, and not just has bases randomly scattered throughout the map.
