About This Mod

The disease is now contagious. Added a problem that limits the trend.

Short Content

When you get sick, the experience with vanilla is very simple. The game triggers an event and random settlers are infected with the chosen disease. Initially, the settlers affected were the only settlers who were concerned. Fighting infectious diseases is no longer easy. Now you need to worry about some diseases that have been transmitted among your settlers. If you don't pay attention, your entire colony may suffer from flu or plague. Animals also spread animal flu and animal plague.

How does it work?

When a settler gets infected with flu or plague, he starts to reject the microorganisms. These microorganisms interact with the same environment as an infected person, resulting in their entry into the settlers. Finally, the germs infected the settlers with the disease.

The original infection remains the same - coincidentally, and from anywhere - I have yet to find a good way to introduce the disease into the colony without becoming even more irritating than it still is.

Mechanoids do not affect the disease.

Microorganisms and cleaning

Microorganisms are about the same as other dirt in the game. Settlers tasked with cleaning up can clear them of land just as they can with dirt. However, over time, microorganisms accumulate much more rapidly than any other dirt. Reducing the spread of microorganisms is important for isolating sick settlers and providing cleaning products to hospitals.

If you invest in hospital infertility or metal floors, monitoring the cleanliness of these tiles can reduce the spread of the disease. Pursuing other dirt or solution that accumulates in the hospital reverses the positive effect of sterilization/metal floors.

Personal Protective Equipment (PSA)

You will want to invest in PSAs for settlers as they can move around the colony during illness and prevent the spraying of many microorganisms. Wearing a PSA reduces the chances of a microorganism actually entering a settler's body, which will be truly infected. Follow the upgrade as PSA will be slow to add to this mod.

Current PSA is provided by

Pest mask (40% contains microorganisms) (20% resistant to microorganisms)

Political mask (25% protection against microorganisms) (10% resistance to microorganisms)

Master of respiratory protection (60% protection against microorganisms) (25% resistance to microorganisms)

Respiratory protection report (65% protection against microorganisms) (40% resistance to microorganisms)

PAPR (80% germ membrane) (80% kidney tolerance)

Gloves (10% protection against microorganisms) (10% resistance to microorganisms)
