Better Pyromania modification
About This Mod
The purpose of this small arsonist is to turn the arsonist's characteristic from a self-destructive deficiency into a hobby/interest with positive and negative benefits.
The following elements of the Vanilla Pyromaniac have been modified
Pyromaniac no longer makes pawns inextinguishable (note, however, that fire-mad pawns, whose backstory has extinguishment disabled, remain inextinguishable).
Pyromania no longer causes accidental mental breakdowns.
Pyromaniac no longer reduces the market value of pawns by 20%.
The following components of Vanilla Pyromaniac remain unchanged
Pyromaniac can still only use Fire Slash as a mental breakdown.
The arsonist still gets a boost from possessing a firearm, but this bonus has been reduced from +5 to +2.
The following elements have been added to the arsonist line:
Pyromaniac added a stick of need for fire.
This bar decreases by 30% every 24 hours (1.25% per hour) until the pawn is awake and close to the source of fire. On average, a pawn's sleep schedule takes about 4.5 days to go from full to empty.
This is increased by 12% per hour as long as the pawn is within 10 tiles of the fire. A localized fire is defined as a building with visible open fire. These include torches, dark-lit torches, campfires, dark-lit fires, burners and dark-lit burners. This rate does not increase when local bonfires are added to the coverage area.
This rate increases by 20% per hour as long as the pawn is within 10 tiles of uncontrolled fire. This stripe does not increase from additional bonfires in the radius and is replaced by growth from being near a local bonfire.
This is increased by 12% each time a pawn fires. This includes setting a fire during a mental break.
This bar is increased by 16% each time a pawn sets fire or throws an incendiary device.
