About This Mod
This mode changes and improves (in my opinion) the logic of the guidance system.
In the original game, the aiming system will automatically change targets based on your camera's gaze direction, and you cannot change targets manually.
This mod does two things:
- Completely prevents automatic goal changing.
- Adds a new button to keyboard shortcuts called Switch Target. This allows you to switch between nearby targets.
I would recommend using both vanilla target button and new Toggle Target button. The Vanilla button is still the primary aiming button and is used to unlock when there are other targets around. The Toggle Target button can also be used to acquire or release a lock, but it will prioritize replacing targets rather than releasing the lock.
The new button "Switch Target" you will find in the main section of the in-game keyboard shortcuts.
