PvP

• Friendly Fire/Aiming: Enable the ability to attack and/or target your friends without using different factions.
• Basic PvP: Simply assign commands to each player in the PvP menu. You will be able to target and attack each other instantly. The organizer can change the team of any other player, but those who are not the organizer can only change their team or their partner's team.
• Fight to the Death: Only the World Master can start a correspondence. This will turn off the animation for all players and prohibit changing teams until only one team is left. I could have added more such regimes in the future if people got interested, but so far it was quick and easy.
• Viewers: If you are a member of the NO team (or are dead in the Royal Rumble), you can watch the remaining players.

Monitoring

Surveillance mode allows you to watch the remaining players, either by targeting them or using a free camera.

In viewer mode, you can use the following hotkeys:

• Left and Right Arrows: Turn on monitoring mode and switch between remaining players
• Up or Down Arrows: Return to Camera Free Mode and undo camera capture
• Free Camera: Use the movement keys and mouse to look around (jump to climb, crouch to descend)
• Escape: Panic key to open the PvP menu and interrupt the viewer, in case you need to finish the game or something like that.

Royal

Battle CAUTION: Royal Rumble must erase character retention for all players to start equally. DON'T use a character you're interested in for "Royal Rumble", use a fresh character (at least get to the lighthouse) so you don't care if it gets erased after the game. Don't complain to me that "Battle Royal" has erased your save.

If you have accidentally used the symbol you are interested in, you can restore the backup using the outgoing debug mode or just manually restore the file.

Royal Rumble mode is currently ready for beta testing. It is designed as a 2-6 player mode, similar to the traditional BR games, but obviously quite adapted to work in Outward, and with some unique mechanics.

• Specify the commands in the menu, and the organizer can start the "Royal Battle".
• All players will lose their items, skills, etc.
• Everyone will be teleported to Monsoon (if you're not already there) and the game will start immediately.

There are a lot of unique mechanics in "Royal Rumble" mode, some of which include:

• Traps cause damage to anyone who activates them, even the person who armed them.
• Weapon skills are automatically learned as soon as you acquire weapons.
• Some enemies will randomly appear throughout the city. Kill them to gain skills.
• Supplies (chests) appear every 2 minutes or so. The number of boxes depends on the number of players in the game.
• Supplies chests become more valuable over time.
• After about 4 minutes, the People's Butcher will appear, from which powerful weapons and strong skills fall.
• You can pick up other players' items when they are defeated.
• The last surviving team wins!

Please keep in mind that you may encounter some minor bugs, I already know about a few. For the most part, there shouldn't be any real mistakes that break the game.To-Do

Known Errors:

• The handle will turn off better
• Sometimes chests are invisible
• Add a scoreboard at the end of the game
• Watch while you are dead
• Gameplay options that allow the organizer to configure rules

2. Download the PvP.zip file from the Files page
3. Put this zip file in the Outward directory to make it look like "Outward\PvP.zip"
4. Right-click the file and select Check Out Here to merge it into folders.
