About This Mod

If you use the manual recipe option in Alchemy or Cooking, and the recipe does not work, the ingredients are not consumed.

There is a configuration file where you can enable or disable this behavior for cooking and alchemy separately.


Note:

This mod is for single-player play only and can cause problems when used on split screen or in multiplayer.


Question of preferences

Obviously, this mod can be considered cheating and it's not how the authors of the game conceived craft.

Also, when you've been playing the game for some time, you probably have a huge amount of ingredients to experiment with.

On the other hand, do you really want to risk losing rare ingredients in failed craft attempts?

For me, the loss of ingredients was very discouraging to the point where I no longer wanted to experiment.

Experiments by themselves are funny mechanics, so I didn't want to miss them. So I'm going to use this mod.

In the end, the player must decide whether to use the mod
