About This Mod

This mod is an attempt to improve the player's asset management while in town.

In vanilla mode, if you can't buy a house (either because you're a member of another faction or because you don't have enough money), the only way to keep your belongings is to put them on the ground. I agree it's safe. But I think it's dirty, too. I think the game should allow us to store our things correctly and "realistically" even if we don't have a home.

Hence this mod, which adds to every inn of every major city (Berg, Monsoon and Levant) a hiding place for your goods. But it's not free! Since I don't want to disturb the immersion in the game, I decided that this stash would be available for rent. The default price is 50 silver for 7 days, but you can change the default values using the in-game configuration menu.

When the lease expires, the stash will no longer be available until you take it again.

If you later decide to buy a house in the same city, all your belongings will be transferred to the house's stash, and renting will no longer be allowed.

The benefits of the vanilla hammer technique you might ask: "Why would I want to take a stash off if I could just put all my stuff in a few bags on the ground?"

Well, right now I see two good reasons.

1. Ingredients available for crafting

With my fashion, all the items you keep in the caches are automatically available for crafting! This means that you can put all the ingredients in a hiding place, go to your alchemy fire, and you'll see that all the ingredients in the hiding place are used for recipes. The same is true of crafting for survival. But be careful: it only works as long as you stay in the city (if you are otherwise cheated too much).

2. Show the number of items you own

The mod also shows the number of items you already have in the craft results menu.

3. Displaying information about

For items sold mod adds information "Course cost" (value divided by weight).

4. Display readable information about

durability All perishable items have new "Durability" information showing it in a more convenient way (eg, "2d, 5h" instead of "2 days and 5 hours")Known issues If you buy a house, you need to get out of the area and back for fashion to properly disable rent and move your belongings to the home's stash.
