TAB Mod (1.20.4) - a universal solution that works

TAB Mod (1.20.4) is a universal mod for displaying information in different places, designed to surpass similar plugins in functionality, compatibility and performance. Compact configuration allows fashion to work the way you want, no matter how simple or complex it is, and no matter your experience. The default configuration already contains useful values and examples to help you better understand and get started with immediate results.

Belowname: The targets of the scoreboard with the BELOW_NAME display slot add another line of text under the player name sign, visible only to players within 8 blocks. This value is on the client side and cannot be changed by the plugin. This string is automatically displayed on all entities in the player, if enabled. Therefore, it is not possible to show it for some players only or not for NPC. However, if you only want it to appear in real players, turn it off, turn on the unlimited badge mode, and run /tab group _DEFAULT_ belowname %health % Health (or text of your choice). This will result in the armor stand being used to display text instead of NPC. This functionality can be configured in the belowname-objective section in config.yml.

Boss bar: originally designed to display stats of ender dragons and wizards, the plugin found another use: in 1.9 mojang added a special package to display text that does not require entities. This feature can be configured in the bossbar section of config.yml.

Global Playlist: This feature allows players to be displayed from other servers in the bungeecode network instead of only showing players from one server. To use this feature, a TAB must be installed in bungeecord. This option is not available in bukkit and will not be added.

Header and Footer: The ability to display text above and below the player list appeared in Minecraft 1.8; it cannot be displayed in Client 1.7.

Layout: This feature allows you to configure all 80 tab list slots; displays with fewer than four columns are not currently supported. This feature can be enabled and configured in the layout section of config.yml. This feature is only available in version 1.8 and above; to ensure compatibility with 1.7, a complete functional overhaul is required, which can cause all sorts of visual problems, including compatibility with other plugins that add/remove players from the tab list.

Name plates: The name plates are controlled by the Scoreboard Teams function, which has six properties: team name, team name, player name, player team name, and player team name:

Team name - used to sort the players in the tabbed list.

Prefix - the prefix displayed on the badge.

A suffix is a suffix displayed on a badge, called a badge suffix.

Command color (1.13+) - used to set the name and glow color (see how to make TAB compatible with the glow plug-in) (in 1.12- the last color of the prefix is used).

When TAB is enabled, it controls all of this; it cannot take values from two different commands (plugins). Most compatibility issues with other plugins can be resolved using placeholders. If you want to sort but not name tags, you do not need to specify a prefix/suffix. If you want the commands to be processed by other plugins, you can customize the sorting in these plugins.

This functionality can be configured in the scoreboard-teams section in config.yml.

Playlist for each world: This feature allows you to limit the players displayed in the tab list to only those players on your world or on multiple worlds. This feature can be configured in the per-world-playerlist section in config.yml. This feature requires the TAB to be installed on the Bukkit server. This feature is not available in BungeeCord.

Ping Spoofing: By default, the server sends the player's ping information to everyone. Some modified clients can see the exact value, not just the bar. This function masks the ping values of all players to the given values and hides the real ping. We don't know why you need it.

Player List Assignment: PLAYER_LIST The target of the scoreboard with slots to display. Supports two types of display: yellow and hearts Since version 1.20.3, any text can be displayed. This feature can be configured in the playerlist-objective section in config.yml.

RedisBungee Support: when a proxy plugin is detected, TAB automatically enables the hook and adds support for it. No configuration is required.

Scoreboard: a scoreboard object with a SIDEBAR display slot. This functionality can be configured in the Scoreboard section in config.yml.

Sort Players in Tab List: To enable sorting, either Nametags or Layout (or both) must be enabled. To check if sorting is enabled, run /tab debug; the sorting type will be displayed: and then anything but DISABLED.

Spectator Bug Fix: With the introduction of Spectator game mode in 1.8, players who have this game mode will automatically appear at the bottom of the tab list with a transparent name and without a yellow number. This feature cancels packages that change the game mode to viewer mode, canceling this feature of Minecraft.

Tab list name format: This feature allows you to customize the formatting of player names in the tab list. This feature is configured in the tablist-name-formatting section in config.yml.

Unlimited Name Mode: There are many restrictions on player names in Minecraft. This feature makes badges invisible and replaces them with invisible armor racks (if you're wondering why not clouds with area effect or text displays). They are teleported every time the player moves, making them virtually invisible. They are fully packet (that is, they do not exist on the server side and do not remain on the map if something goes wrong) and are processed asynchronously (do not affect the TPS). The alternative of riding the player is not implemented. The improvement of the current method (teleportation) has taken years, and it is expected that in a completely different mode it will be no worse. It also creates a number of compatibility issues, such as plugins for riding players. This feature can be configured in the unlimited-nametag-mode section of the config.yml file. If you have TAB installed on BungeeCord, you will need to install TAB-Bridge on all internal servers.
