Mirai Shader
About This Mod
The Mirai shader (v26, 1.21) is based on the substantially modified Vibrant Visual Pipeline video conveyor in the Render Dragon engine for Minecraft Bedrock Edition. The developer has redesigned and tuned a total of 50 materials from this conveyor to achieve believable graphics with improved lighting, voluminous clouds, on-screen reflections, and improved water effects. This release means a complete update of the original Mirai Shader project from Bambosan, all the amendments are implemented through custom JSON files and shader materials files, which will fully use the current Bedrock rendering system, available from version 1.16+.Functionality:
The new lighting mechanism is a completely redesigned shading system with baked volumetric light separated from the albedo for much more organic background light, as well as smooth transition of real-time decay when changing the day (sunset to night and night to dawn).
Real-time volume clouds are optional, penetrating clouds that actually cast shadows (disabled by default because they put a heavy load on hardware).
Renewed water is a completely new dynamics of surface waves and improved water caustics.
Improved on-screen reflections (SSR) - clearer and clearer reflections with improved vertical tracking and no blurring at the edges of the display.
Volumetric smoke - a wonderful underwater volumetric fog + atmospheric haze with reduced dispersion and variable power (more pronounced at dawn).
Visual polishing - reduced overall color brightness, shadows became lighter and less saturated, shows a new 2D model of clouds, as well as its own sun, drawn directly in the shader code (the celestial satellite still uses the standard texture).
It works well in the Upper World, the Lower World and the Land.
