About This Mod

This mod removes the "You are leaving the game area" and "You cannot enter this area" messages and allows you to explore anything you want outside the map or in restricted areas. Finally you can walk to the Burning Shores DLC card just like in Frozen Wilds!


There are four versions of this fashion:

  • Disable Leaving Play Area - disables the message "You are leaving the game area" and allows you to explore outside the map.
  • Disable Can't Enter Location - disables the message "You cannot log in to this location" and allows you to explore restricted areas.
  • Disable Leaving Play Area and Can't Enter Location - Disables "You are leaving the game area" and "You cannot enter this location" messages and allows you to explore wherever you want
  • Disable Leaving Play Area and Can't Enter Location Test is a test version that displays dialog boxes to show what it is doing and continues to monitor the game to see if it has undone any changes.

A few things to keep in mind:

  • this only works on land (not when swimming or flying)
  • if you try to swim outside the map or in restricted areas, you may get stuck
  • exploring restricted areas (those that will be blocked by a "Can't enter this location" message) is likely to interfere with game progress, so it is recommended not to use the "Disable Can't Enter Location" or "Disable Leaving Play Area and Can't Enter Location" version until you have completed the game's story (the "Disable Leaving Play Area" version should not affect game progress)
  • if you go far beyond the map's boundaries, you'll be stuck on the Compiling Shaders download screen.

To install the mod, download the version you want, unzip the contents of the zip file, and copy winhttp.dll to the game's installation folder. To remove mods, remove winhttp.dll from the game's installation folder.
