Anti-Stutter - High CPU Priority - Horizon Forbidden West
About This Mod
Simple registry editing to enable high processor priority for the Horizon Forbidden West executable. This may help with performance on weak processors. Productivity improvements are not guaranteed, sometimes they can be worse (although this is unlikely). Your mileage may vary. The main improvement that this mod can give is a reduction in stuttering, even if the FPS remains the same.
This can also be achieved by using Bitsum's "Process Lasso" if you prefer to use it (I personally use it). These registry files provide a simple solution, so you don't need any additional software. In fact, there are many ways to make changes to the registry, it is simply a simple and convenient way that does not require technical knowledge.
Simply run the Install .reg file to enable the changes. Run the .reg file "Uninstall" to delete the changes if you encounter problems.
Let me know in the comments how it works for you. I was able to achieve some success with this revision on the i3-10100F processor by running the game at a frequency of about 60 FPS with RX6600.
